Kinesthetic Learning.

I learned a new word...

Kineshteic learning. As explained by wiki...
Kinesthetic learning is a learning style in which learning takes place by the student actually carrying out a physical activity, rather than listening to a lecture or merely watching a demonstration. It is also referred to as tactile learning. People with a kinaesthetic learning style are also commonly known as do-ers.

Having a chat with someone who fits into the same category as I do, he had this to say about us.

"yea--school doesn't work for us very well--i was considered a discipline problem because i couldn't sit--i had to move--i'm still the same way--i think by exercising, walking, pacing, yoga etc

i probably understand why you do what you do--kinesthetics live in a different world than most of the people--for us, the experience is THE reason for doing everythings--we need to FEEL the world and the only way to do that is through experience--we are not observers--we have to taste, smell, touch, feel--

i don't know how many tens of thousands of miles i have hiked, walked, climbed or ran in my life or how many things i have done just to know how it feels"

Interesting.

So VERY True....
