Peacefull Halloween

Wow, that was the first Halloween I've ever spent alone. It was actually kind of nice. Every year I strive to be the best, and I go out of my head in the effort, not to mention spending more money than was in my bank account, and weeks of clean up afterwords.

But this year, I put my blue neon light under the Airstream, strung up orange lights that my sister sent me, strapped the costume on the cat, (which lasted all of three minutes) and enjoyed the silence.... then I walked down to Kelly's for a beer so I didn't have to be alone....LOL.

I did get my fix though. I built several 'trees' for Dempsey's Brass Rail in Spokane. It seemed like a good idea, so I could show the people up here how creative I can be.

I did have to hit Dempsey's to see how people liked my trees, so here's a few pics from Saturday night.

'Lexi'

'Blow Me Bubbles' as 'ChiChi LaRue'
Now in defense of Drag Queens, which many people do care for, or even understand, it's the ultimate expression of creativity. Unlike the queens in St.Louis, these girls are nice, and friendly.

Blow Me Bubbles is 6' 5" without the hair or heels.

That makes one MAMOTH drag queen!!!

The boys behind the bar were dressed as Spokane's Mayor Jim West, with his troop of Boy Scouts. For those of you who aren't aware. Jim West is tied up in a big scandal. It was recently found that he's gay, and has been picking up guys on line, and giving them jobs at City Hall that they otherwise wouldn't be qualified for. OOPS! might want to be more carefull next time Mr. West....OK, the pictures of them don't want to upload, I know you were dying to see them.

Mayor West! That is funny! The only problem I have with drag queens is that they have nicer legs than me and they have way better hair. Its not fair! Hope to meet you at Maryhill next weekend, would love to hear how you ended up in the middle of nowhere? And we can share some Overlander stories. Our trailer is one year older than me, as well.
